This is definitely one of my favorite captures of the city. This vantage point is from the South of the City near Burnham Harbor, and let me tell you, one of the best places of the lakefront hands down. There is so much uninterrupted beauty down there, and there are several parts of the lakefront in that region that allow you to get up close and personal with all kinds of rocky and sandy waterfront with gleaming skyline views. This picture may seem as clearly Chicago is not in the tropics, however, I assure you, the water really does become that amazing clear turquoise color, and on the right days with the right light, pictures like this are quite easy to capture, I barely altered this image.
