"I met Eric Formato at a neighborhood art festival and was immediately taken by his work. His photography captured elements of everyday Chicago that most failed to see and highlighted them in a vivid and engaging way. I learned of Eric’s story and inspirations and then commissioned him to do a large piece for the major wall of a new conference and training center we were opening in River North, Chicago. I wanted something that was unique and played homage to the city of Chicago. The resulting work ”House of Hues” hangs proudly in our office. A series of five panels from various environments across the city, it evokes immediate responses from our many international guests and visitors. Eric was a dream to work with, from understanding my brief to delivering and installing the work on time and on budget. Its always nice to be able to support young local artists and we couldn’t be happier with his work and the finished installation."
